MISSION
Research papers remain vital in communicating ideas and knowledge necessary in advancing the field of any type of science. However, papers can be complex, long, and can include jargon unfamiliar to many high school students. The purpose of the USC Neuro Scholars summer program is to shatter that unfamiliarity by explaining intricate neuroscience topics and breaking down dense research papers. Our bi-weekly meetings allow students to discuss neuroscience literature in a low-pressure environment with expert USC neuroscientists and professors. We strive to empower students with the analytical skills and knowledge necessary to navigate and contribute to the field of neuroscience effectively.
